Ignition Tune Up Kit 1970-73 (240Z) with Electronic Upgrade

Tune ups are an important part of the general maintenance of your Z. The metal parts of the spark plugs, cap, and rotor all wear down over time from heat caused by repeated use. This can lead to poor fuel economy, engine performance, and eventually cause misfires in extreme cases. The recommended interval for a tune up on early Z cars is 30,000 miles, although it is also a good idea to change out these parts if the car has sat for a long period of time or if you recently purchased the car. It's also a good idea to perform a tune up when you upgrade to an electronic ignition kit or change the ignition coil. We assembled this kit for those who have upgraded their original points distributor to aftermarket electronic ignition, such as the Crane XR Series or Pertronix upgrades, and no longer have ignition points to replace. Kit includes:

• (1) Distributor Rotor

Note: This kit is for use with factory 240Z single point distributors that have been upgraded to electronic ignition only. Will not fit later electronic distributors
