K&N crankcase vent filters are perfect for racing applications, vintage cars or individuals who want to add some aesthetics to their classic carbureted engine. The 62-1410 crankcase vent filter has a black rubber top and base. The filter is 2-3/8 inches tall, 3 inches in outside diameter with a 1 inch flange which is designed to push on to the existing rubber breather grommets. Constructed with a synthetic filter media it can be cleaned and reused repeatedly.

The breather tube on the front driver's side of your engine block was designed to be connected by a hose to the intake system to facilitate Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV). If you change your carburetor or intake type and no longer have a place for the PCV hose, never block the PCV tube, and don't leave it without the protection of a filter. These filters are a proper fit for the PCV tube, and look great while protecting your engine!
